Nobody learns in the old elementary school!
Welcome to thehentaishop!
Here you will find more and more shop and blog articles about the hentai culture in Japan. To give the whole thing a little more structure:
What is the Hentai Shop about?
thehentaishop is the first port of call for people looking for licensed products in the areas of figures, merchandise, dakimakura and sex toys. We are currently gradually expanding our segments and have the first important contracts with suppliers directly from Japan!
Here you won't find cheap bootleg stuff or classic Shounen merchandise items. We specialize in everything that would make Muten-Roshi and co. proud!
Feel free to look around and order!
What is this blog about?
We noticed that there is very little valuable information about the scene, even though anime has such a strong presence in Germany.
In the future, this blog will cover topics such as:
- How do I recognize bootleg figures?
- Which figures have the potential to become real collector's items?
- What is the probability of winning your piece in a Cranegame?
- How are licensing rights for merchandise actually managed?
- What is the story behind the green building in Akihabara that so many returnees talk about?
- Success stories from Tenga and co.
- and much more!
So don't forget to subscribe to our newsletter! You can cancel it at any time without any problems and we will make sure that you only receive the news that is really important! No spam and no sharing of your data.
Who are the people behind thehentaishop?
We have been watching anime for over 20 years now, starting in the 90s with Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball and Pokemon, then Ranma 1/2, Shin Chan and whatever else you could find on RTL II. Then from burned CDs with Welcome to NHK, Love Hina and School Days to Crunchyroll with the latest anime. Today we proudly stand behind our love of Japan and pop culture and of course that includes figures, dakimakura and the odd goodie that disappears into the drawer when we have visitors.
While studying in Japan, we were able to discover a lot of things that you don't really get to see in Germany. Whole buildings filled with doujinshi and really weird stuff (⌒_⌒;).
Our mission is to bring these experiences here!
